With a total of 387 projectile weaving machines under one roof, ETEX is the largest carpet backing manufacturer outside the USA and Eruope. About Eastern Textile Company Ltd

Eastern Textile Company Ltd was established in 1994 as an ancillary unit to meet the captive requirements of carpet backings for its parent company, Artex Industrial Investment Company. Back then, it operated under the name Saudi Carpet Factory or Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Co.

A Journey of Growth

Over the years, ETEX products earned international recognition among leading carpet manufacturers across global markets. To meet increasing export demand and growing captive needs from its in-house forward-integrated facilities, the company undertook major expansions — making it one of the largest carpet backing producers outside the USA and Europe.
